Pastor Rich Wolf
Richard J. Wolf graduated from Christ Seminary – Seminex in 1977. After 13 years in the restaurant business, Rich began professional ministry in 1990 when he was ordained and accepted a call to serve Peace Lutheran Church in Belmont, WI. He later served at Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI. and First Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL.
Rich is particularly interested in leading quality spirit-filled worship and serving Christ through service to the surrounding community. Not surprisingly, both are strengths of the New Hope congregation.
When asked to describe how he lives out his faith, he answers: “I am constantly aware that the manner in which I live my daily life reflects upon the One I serve. I try my very best to bear witness to the Gospel through my actions and attitudes and particularly in the way that I relate to people. The core of the Gospel is God’s undeserved love and acceptance of all people. I try to show that same grace towards others.”
Rich is married to Rachel, who is a Rostered Associate in Ministry (MA Wartburg Seminary) and has served as a community organizer, a hosptial chaplain, and as a visitation and outreach minister. The couple have three grown children and one granddaughter, all living in the Midwest.
